Diamond honing shaft with two different cutting layers

Two layers, two honing operations in just a single operating cycle. Pre-honing and finish honing with one tool and one clamping.

The different cutting layers enable TWIN-TOOL to carry out the pre-honing and finish honing of a workpiece in just a single operating cycle without a tool change. The reduced tool change times in connection with the long service life of the electroplated TWIN-TOOL cutting elements result in an increase in productivity on single spindle honing machines. Using an appropriate adapter the tool can be used on all common honing machines.
